To move like an angel
I was bent
in a Gethsemane garden.
Gloom was there
because I'd planted my preferences.
And oh, those perpetual weeds
of disappointment
had me on my knees
till I was so stiff!
Yet Jesus taught
that what grows from bended knees
in gardens
is our loving bow to God's instructions.
Jumping up to follow them,
I found
that I could move like an angel.
