A dear friend introduced me to Christian Science many years ago. I began attending branch church services and Christian Science lectures, and I enrolled my son in a Christian Science Sunday School. Through these activities and through my study of Christian Science I learned to promote harmony and peace in my association with others. I felt a closeness to God that I had never experienced before, and there were healings as a result.

At the time I became a Scientist, my son had suffered for several years from frequent colds, allergy attacks, and asthma. Despite the medication he took, these attacks often persisted for several weeks. Consequently, he missed several days of school each month.

I decided to trust my son's health entirely to God, and I engaged the prayerful assistance of a Christian Science practitioner. In two days my son was healed completely. Soon after that he became active in track at his school, ran several important races, and won medals with his team that year. The team was cited in the local papers as having the strongest and healthiest all-around athletes in the city. This represented a complete turnaround for my son, who attended school regularly after his healing.
