On campus—just before Christmas

The weeks at school before Christmas break can be hectic and pressured—but not if we are celebrating the Christ every day.

Term papers to be researched and finished—lab projects to be completed—examinations requiring vigorous study! And those extracurricular activities to which a commitment has been made! Does this sound like the campus scene just before Christmas break?

As the momentum increases, students begin to anticipate the holiday, relishing the thought of extra hours of relaxation when they will finally be off campus. Some may even have quietly promised themselves that they will ponder more deeply the meaning of Christmas when all the deadlines have been met.

But, why wait? Shouldn't the life of the Master be honored every day? Christmas is ongoing. From the time of his birth, Jesus exemplified the Christ. He demonstrated that the Christ is God's all-harmonious manifestation in our lives. And Jesus proved that this divine manifestation of God can destroy every suggestion that we are merely limited human beings—and this is true on or off campus.
