I have been a student of Christian Science for about fifty years, and I am very grateful for all the healings I have had. My first healing in Christian Science was of an enlarged heart and a valvular disturbance. Subsequent healings include those of migraine headaches, chronic bronchitis, lack, hay fever, deafness, earache, grief, tonsillitis, and a lump in my breast.

About five years ago I was healed of the effects of a stroke. I stayed at a sanatorium for Christian Scientists while I was working this out. My second day there I was able to move my foot a little, something I had not been able to do. The fifth day I was able to lift my arm over my head. I prayed, and I studied the Bible Lesson outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly every day. In about a month I was able to walk normally again and had received a complete healing. The healing has been permanent.

"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Ps. 107:20). For all my blessings I can only say, "Thank you, God."
