For over thirty-five years the teachings of Christian Science have healed me and guided me in my daily activities.
Prior to my introduction to this Science I had investigated several religions but found none that satisfied me. When I first learned of Christian Science I was not very impressed. Not long after that, however, I saw the healing of a disease considered incurable. I then wanted to know more about this teaching that could heal where medical means could not, so I started studying Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy at least four hours every morning.
Soon I had a beautiful, quick healing of smoking. (I had been in the habit of smoking about two packs of cigarettes a day.) Also, the desire for social drinking soon disappeared. The next step in my progress was membership in a branch church and in The Mother Church.
