For children
How do we pray?
In Sunday School it was time for Silent Prayer. The children were very quiet. Everyone's eyes were closed. Everyone's except Sally's. Sally was looking around. She saw Jimmy peeking through his fingers. Sally began to smile. They both began to giggle.
Then it was time to say the Lord's Prayer out loud. Afterward the teacher asked the children if they knew how to pray silently. Sally said "No." Most of the others weren't sure.
The teacher asked the children if they ever liked to have a quiet time to themselves to think about things.
