I have been studying Christian Science for the past fifty-five years, and I have had many proofs of God's love and care for all mankind.

I would like to share the healing of a blemish on my face that occurred in 1983. For twenty years I had worn my hair close to my face to cover the mark. I prayed regularly for Love's guidance in knowing that God's child—His spiritual likeness—is without spot or blemish. Though there was no visible sign of improvement, I did not give in to any temptation to waver from my trust in God's healing power.

Suddenly one day I realized that I had been hoping all those years for something to vanish when, in reality, spiritual perfection was already present and always had been.
