A previous testimony of mine appeared in the Sentinel in 1962, and this one is long overdue.
At a time when my husband's work necessitated a move to another state, I was having difficulty with what appeared to be an infection in my breast. Though I had had wonderful help from Christian Science practitioners in the past, on this occasion I felt I should work on my own in Science. Much time was given to spiritual study. One very helpful thought from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy was (p. 463) "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." Shortly the abscess drained and the healing was complete.
Grief was overcome quickly through Christian Science when my husband passed on, but fear of living alone took longer to master. The thought that our loving Father never leaves us alone was most helpful, and I have now been living alone for many years and enjoy a happy, busy life.
