The Christian Science Publishing Society is happy to announce another step of progress for the Christian Science Quarterly—Bible Lessons. The Quarterly has been undergoing further modest design changes, which will appear in the July-September 1987 issue. Behind the modifications was a desire to make the Quarterly more inviting to new readers and a more practical working tool for all readers. Some of the refinements echo designs from Quarterly's of Mrs. Eddy's day. (This is particularly true of the title page.)

The cover of the Quarterly will emphasize "Bible Lessons," reaching out to all who love the Bible. Inside, you will find clear, concise explanations and introductions, to help new students more easily learn how to study the Bible Lesson. In the Study Edition you will find more generous space for note-taking. (Readers in churches will also find this space useful for their purposes.) As you work with the new Quarterly and become familiar with its format, we hope you will find these refinements a further help in your study of the Bible Lessons. The price of the Quarterly will remain the same.

... are a good place to investigate Christian Science more deeply, to become more familiar with the Bible, to read Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings by Mary Baker Eddy, to learn how to study the weekly Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly. A free lending library is there for your use, and the attendant will be happy to answer your questions.
