Horizon
Look yonder ...
see ... the earth touching the sky.
Do you question, "Why"?
Or, do you reply,
"It isn't as it seems to be;
things are not always what we think we see"?
Then look yonder
to the horizon of mortal thought,
to the limit of material perception,
to the line where false education
has taught
that man is a matter being—
feeling,
hearing,
touching,
tasting,
seeing.
Do you realize that this, too, is deception;
a deceiving, materially mental conception?
That though these things seem to have reality,
things are not always what we think we see?
Then look yonder
to the true horizon of Mind.
Let the Christ reveal
a view of man ... unlimited, unconfined.
There you will see
that the kingdoms of this world,
all that seems to be
(false education, ignorance, sin),
are never in,
or part of, spiritual man.
The good and the bad never merge.
Spirit and matter never converge.
Man, in pristine purity—
embodiment of God's reality—
is all we're ever asked to see.
