Waiting for "something" to happen
Tired of waiting for "things to get better"? You can stop waiting—now!
What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for the other shoe to drop? A future spouse? A terrific job offer? Business to pick up? Happiness to start?
But do you—does anyone—need to go through life always waiting for something to happen? Not according to Christ Jesus, who said quite bluntly, "The kingdom of God is at hand." Mark 1:15.
God is the giver of all good. And the Bible tells us of many people who found that when they turned to God, good was "at hand"—happiness, for example, fulfillment, companionship, activity.
