God's goodness has been so evident to our family that I must express my gratitude for the blessings we have received.
About three years ago I was suddenly seized with pain in the upper portion of my body. Turning to God in prayer as I had for many years, I realized that a loving God did not create an inharmonious condition nor could I be subject to anything He did not make. The Bible tells us (Gen. 1:26), "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." That chapter also states (verse 31), "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good."
This passage helped me, too (John 4:24): "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." I reasoned that because in my real being I was made in the image and likeness of God, I was truly spiritual and not subject to pain or discord.
