The September 28, 1974, issue of the Sentinel published my first healing in Christian Science, that of multiple sclerosis. That first healing helped me realize more fully my innate completeness as a spiritual idea of God. The following is another wonderful healing I have had.

For many years, before I knew of Christian Science, I had a growth on my body. Doctors had advised me to have the growth removed. But because it wasn't visible and didn't bother me, I never did anything about it.

After I had become a Christian Scientist and was an active member of a branch church, the growth suddenly enlarged and became most uncomfortable. In seeking healing, I endeavored to gain a better understanding of God as the only power and creator. I affirmed that in my true being as His child, I was wholly spiritual, the reflection of Spirit. I had no fear, only an increasing consciousness of the infinitude of Love. Every day I studied the Bible Lesson. I also prayed daily for myself, my church, and the community.
