God's is the glory
I had admitted and acknowledged
that the kingdom was God's
and the power was His.
But when success resulted,
I kept the glory for myself.
God had not forsaken me,
and yet I turned my back.
Soon I found there was nowhere to go
with this glory of mine,
for I had turned my back
and could not see God anymore.
Now, I have given Him the glory,
and behold, I have something for myself:
a kingdom of gratitude.
