Several years ago I returned to college to pursue a field of study related to my undergraduate degree. I was very eager to attend this school because it had the reputation of being the best in my particular subject.

During the registration I discovered that I would have to take one course that was conducted all day on Saturdays. This course was one I felt didn't have much relevancy to my needs, and previously I had not done well in this subject. In addition, Saturday and Sunday were the only days I was able to spend with my husband. I wasn't off to a very good start, but I tried to remain optimistic about the class.

After I had attended the class for several weeks, a feeling of irritation grew. The teacher appeared disorganized and didn't seem to present timely material. I viewed the work as boring and tedious. It was a real chore to complete any of the assignments. (I should mention here that at this school if you miss a class three times, you automatically fail the class. If you fail a class, you are automatically put on probation and may be dismissed from the school.) I had missed the class twice already and was doing very poor work.
