I will never cease being grateful to God for His Son, Christ Jesus; and for His revelation of the Christ Science to Mrs. Eddy.
At one time I suffered a serious stricture of the bowels and bladder. After I had undergone several days of pain and inactivity of these bodily functions, it was obvious that something must be done. At that point I had no faith in medicine, and I refused to see a doctor.
My husband had attended a Christian Science Sunday School when he was a boy, and he asked me if I would try Christian Science. I accepted, feeling I had little choice. Within a few hours after a Christian Science practitioner had been telephoned to help me through prayer, thorough physical elimination took place. This freed me from believing I was going to die.
