A bridge of light

A bridge of light across a darkened streamwhose currents claim to grasp and sweep awayall things—event, accomplishment, hope's gleam, all individuals, their work, their day—

Truth stands, unmoved, is broad enough for all.Its ready might and comfort hold, sustain, those who, with their own strength, had fearedto falland sink. For God's expressions all retain their vigor and reliabilitysince Truth maintains them, forms a perfect floorthrough which no man, idea, veritycan slip. And understanding this, no more we find a stream of darkness, fear, or blight. The bridge has grown to be the all of light.
