For over thirty years I have depended on prayer in Christian Science for solutions to problems. So when I had the opportunity to buy a condominium at one point, I naturally turned to Christian Science for help, and every aspect of this business transaction proved to be harmonious.
I was alerted to the availability of the condominium by a dear friend, a Christian Scientist. In order to buy the condominium, it was necessary to sell my home. I knew through the study of Christian Science that supply and demand are governed by the law of divine Mind, God. Mrs. Eddy states in the textbook, Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." I prayed with the understanding that Mind's guidance would prevail.
I felt prompted to sell the house myself. I trusted God to show me the next steps. Securities were sold to cover the cost of the condominium, and I assumed the mortgage already on the apartment. Mrs. Eddy tells us in Miscellaneous Writings (p. 307), "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies."
