The listening mission
The humblest heart
Will soonest know
The love and will of God.
No blockage then
No barrier when
As sheep we heed the rod.
No pride too strong
No fear too deep
That Mind cannot remove.
The fall of pride
The end of fear
Are what we're here to prove.
The highest praise
The brightest days
Are when we listen most.
When lips are still
Our hearts can fill
With all the heavenly host.
