Love's freedom

I love to demonstrate
Your freedom, Lord,
and witness to Your peace.
When I'm battling pain
or grief or loss,
Your stillness comforts me.
Love's freedom coming
smooths the rough
and makes my way plain.
It's to do Your will
and let mine go,
and reflect You constantly.
Then is Christ revealed
and man shines forth
as God's beloved son.
Then I greet each morn
with not my will
but Yours be done.
