The gem of healing
... where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.
(Matthew 6:21)
Someone once said,
"You've got an opal.
I love opals. I wish I had one."
So,
so what?
I've got an opal.
I have nothing because of an opal,
but I do have a lot inside.
Inside there's no opal.
There are important things—
things that are real and alive.
An opal?
So what!
I have more:
understanding,
love,
the desire to heal.
Opals don't heal.
