Confidence in Christian Science healing

To study and demonstrate Christian Science is the greatest privilege anyone can possibly have. Most people who have experienced the freedom from fear, sickness, or despair that Christian Science has brought into their lives are keenly aware of its value. They have an unforced confidence and conviction in the healing power of God which they've learned through its teachings.

How reassuring it is to look back and remember with a flood of gratitude the touch of the Christ, Truth, that lifted a burden of despair and healed us or a family member. Those illuminated moments linger long with us and bring a solid conviction that never leaves us—God is Love.

A Christian Scientist who has this assurance and evidence of divine Love's healing power may at first be surprised to hear criticism of Christian Science in newspapers and on television talk shows. But in the present climate of thought, attention given to Christian Science is not unusual. So we can be compassionate and patient with the doubts of others.
