Wisdom of "worldlings" or spirit of God?
• A man has just gone into business for himself. He has a teen-ager to educate, and no cash reserves. His church elects him to serve a three-year appointment that will take a great deal of his time. Should he accept?
• It is vital that a certain letter to a newspaper be published to correct misinformation. The letter has been rejected—once by form letter and once in more detail. Friends "know someone who knows someone" and tell the author that pressure should be brought to bear. Is it time to make use of the leverage?
• A well-known person has been slandered in the press by those bringing a lawsuit against her. The plaintiffs finally withdraw their suit. A book about the case has been written by a third party. It could help expose the base motives and unconscionable methods of those who instigated the suit against her. Should she support publication?
