Be gentle, my heart.
Human love can be harsh
When will combines to force a bursting bud.
It blasts the tender one that's been unfolding.
(And I had only hoped to help a dear one flower.)

Be gentle.
When patience governs thought and action
Human will dissolves—
And gardens bloom.
