FOR CHILDREN

Mommy's lullaby

Darren Nelson

Go to sleep my little darling,
Mommy's arms are holding you.
We are safely, closely cared for,
we are loved the whole night through.

Hush your crying, best beloved,
close your wide and trusting eyes.
All we ever need is with us;
Father-Mother God is wise.

I will tuck you in your covers
like a sparrow in his nest.
God is hugging us, together;
in His goodness we are blessed.
