Allison proves some truths
One day Allison was at Amy's house where she and Amy were making a garden with hoes and rakes. Amy was having such a good time that she didn't see where Allison was. As Amy raised the hoe, the sharp edge hit her friend on the top of her head. When Allison saw how much her head was bleeding, she was afraid, and she ran home, crying.
At home her mom cleaned her face, and then the two of them sat together in the living room to talk. Mom pointed out that this was a good time to prove some of the truths of God and man that Allison was learning in the Christian Science Sunday School.
Allison wanted to sing her favorite hymn, "'Feed My Sheep,'" See Christian Science Hymnal, No. 304. by Mrs. Eddy, and as she and Mom sang, Allison really felt sure of God's loving presence.
