Entrusting children to God for healing
One of my first questions about Christian Science was, How would it be possible to entrust a child to it? Since that time there has been ample evidence in my experience to show not only the possibility but the desirability of such action. Of course, that early question was mistakenly phrased. Through an understanding of Christian Science one learns to entrust one's child to God, his Father-Mother, who constantly enfolds His creation with the strength of fatherhood and the tenderness and love of motherhood.
The confidence to apply our growing understanding of Christian Science to our children's needs may come easily and quickly. Or it may be that this gradually becomes the natural course we take.
We can be certain, however, that our confidence will grow and deepen as we put into practice what we understand, sincerely applying it to what may seem small and insignificant difficulties.
