Christian Science has met my every need for over fifty years. I am very grateful to God for Mrs. Eddy's clear realization of His all-power, which enabled her to share this teaching with the world. My healings are the result of studying her book Science and Health.

As a young woman I had to help support a family and needed a job. All I knew, however, was how to sew, as I sewed for my children. So I thought I would study costume designing. In the telephone book I found the number of the woman in charge of the costume department of a major motion picture studio. I called and talked with her. She asked me to come to work, as they were very busy and needed help.

So I went to work for the studio. I was at a table with twelve young women. We made chorus costumes. The woman in charge thought that I had talent, so she gave me special work to do. The other girls seemed envious. Around that time I suffered often with sick headaches.
