The bird of faith

Faith is no wingless bird,Earthbound!Singing, it soars with joyFresh foundBeyond the matter-basedEarth crust,To meet each need, each day,With trust.The power divine that mustUpholdThe skyward flight will stillEnfoldThe boundless space beneath,Above,In strength and tendernessOf love.No chartless sky, nostar-Less nightCan stay the bird of faith'sFree flight.Skies, days, and nights to GodBelong—His is the power of sightAnd song.
