Starting my day right
Morning need not be a dreary, bleary-eyed affair. One does not have to drag himself out of bed at the last moment, dress hurriedly, gulp down breakfast, and rush to work in a mental fog, feeling totally unready. There is a better way!
I found this out when I first entered the business world after some years of staying at home with my child. I was overwhelmed by my new schedule and barely able to cope. Arriving at the office mentally unprepared, I found that things did not always go well. I had been accustomed to having plenty of time in the morning for prayer and study of that week's Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly.
Students of Christian Science all over the world find that the Bible Lesson gives them the opportunity for regular, disciplined study of the spiritual truths found in the Bible, and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
