Refuse to react!

When she was good, she was very, very good,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

If we're like the little girl in the nursery rhyme above, we make life hard for those around us and even harder for ourselves. How not to react to stupidity, carelessness, cruelty, injustice, or dishonesty should be a serious concern to us if we earnestly desire to contribute to the peace of our surroundings instead of adding to their turbulence.
