When my husband completed his studies at the beginning of...
When my husband completed his studies at the beginning of 1982, he began to look for suitable employment. Soon it became evident that in our city there was no job available that corresponded to his abilities. However, through a knowledge of God's care (that the Christ had already "prepared a place for" us), as well as a willingness on our part to obey Him, my husband found a position in a city six hundred kilometers away. It corresponded exactly to the field he had specialized in. The company even provided a small apartment for him until we could find a suitable home.
I knew from the very beginning that not only did this new step mean progress for my husband, but also that there would be good opportunities for our little daughter and me. I claimed our right to have our needs wholly satisfied, knowing that God cares not only for one individual but for everyone and in every way, since we are all His beloved children.
