No temptations in Mind!
Temptations come only through thought, and it is only through thought—spiritualized thought—that we can overcome them.
Since temptation is the urge to do or say something wrong, something contrary to the will of God, the Christian might ask himself, Why am I tempted so often to do something I know is wrong when I want to be kind and loving and live a peaceful, orderly life?
The Bible tells us, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." I Cor. 10:13.
