New appointments
When Allison W. Phinney, C.S.B., assumes the post of Clerk of The Mother Church in June, Nathan A. Talbot, C.S.B., will become the new Manager of Committees on Publication.
Mr. Talbot is a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science, and has served The Mother Church since November 1976 as Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and The Herald of Christian Science. Before that he had been a contributor to the periodicals for many years.
Mr. Talbot was reared in Idaho and is a graduate of the University of Idaho and Willamette University College of Law, Salem, Oregon. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar Association in 1968. While a student, he was active in Christian Science organizations at both universities.
