"Thou shalt be as the morning"
Job 11:17
Yes, thou shalt—
thou art, in fact, now dawning—
each day brighter, clearer,
nearer Truth—
whose light you are.
Not star.
A twinkle doesn't show your promise.
But morning, yes—
each day new, the dew-fresh hue
of love in you—resplendent sheen.
What does it mean to be
as morning?
It means progress, light,
revelation, might.
No night.
Unfolding good, irradiant life—
never born, ever dawning,
ever rising, ever forming.
You are morning.
