Obedient day
Oh, how fulfilling: obedient day!
When I feel the power of the prayer I pray,
I set aside all fear and pride to quietly obey
with the ordered pace of Christly grace.
With the ordered pace of Christly grace
I let this day Love's pathway trace,
and then feel Spirit's calm embrace,
brightening my way.
Brightening my way,
Soul upholds the prayer I pray,
has me quietly obey
(lets dominion have its say!).
Fulfillment's here: obedient day.
