Sure dwelling

In the courts of the Lord
I am entirely safe and satisfied.

I draw deep drafts of water from the well
in the green garden of His courts.
I hear my Father's voice, "Beloved child..."
and I run, dancer-swift and confident.
He tells me I have always been His own;
no other love or pride
can fill my life. I seek His Word
because I am His daughter, calm and innocent.

I bring my brothers and my sisters home
where we have always been provided for;
where fear cannot run wild,
nor festered rage nor isolated greed prevent
the perfect secrets of the peace.
His are the borders that are drawn;

we are Love's children, all; all free and justified.
We are entirely safe and satisfied
in the courts, in the green garden of the courts of the Lord.
