My family has been in Christian Science for four generations
My family has been in Christian Science for four generations. During that time many, many wonderful healings have taken place.
One day six years ago we were called to our son's home. He was in severe pain and asked to go to the hospital. We honored his wishes. On the way to the hospital, to clear my own thought, I affirmed that no child of God is subject to evil of any sort. I knew that man could not be hurt or suffer, because the only real presence was God, all good.
I had grabbed my copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy before leaving the house. So while we waited outside the emergency room at the hospital, I completely shut out all the noises and other distractions and read. Soon the doctor came out and told us the problem was kidney stones.
