Insight into the Church Manual
Here we stand
What a privilege to know that we can walk through our mornings and our evenings in utter safety! To feel we are walking on solid fact under a canopy of love! Thought turns to that wonderfully assuring statement in the Bible: "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms." Deut. 33:27.
When we look at the world today, we are faced with a shambles of minds many, opinions many, degrees of greed and politicking. Not only individuals but also the world at large sorely needs a concept of government that is lasting, invulnerable, unchanging—because spiritually based. Christian Science offers such a concept—a practical, workable form of government, which is laid out in the Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy. Under its guidance we can surely walk in safety.
