I want to express my gratitude for a healing I had of what was medically diagnosed as skin cancer.
Some time ago I noticed some small wounds on my neck. My family, who are not Christian Scientists, became quite concerned and insisted that I be examined by a specialist. Though I was not disturbed by the condition, I yielded to my family's wishes.
One week later I was given the diagnosis of skin cancer. When I heard the doctor's words I was shocked. Then I realized that I had to disassociate myself immediately from the medical verdict through affirming and proving the unreality of that material belief. I heard myself say, "Thank you, doctor, for the examination, but my faith is in the miracle of spiritual healing."
