Easter gladness
Many feel that the Easter season is a time of sadness, but isn't it really a time to be altogether glad? The resurrection of Christ Jesus was a glorious occasion. He demonstrated eternal life. Submitting to the ordeal of the crucifixion, he proved that life is not dependent on bone, blood, or flesh, but that Life is God.
It was during the Easter season some years ago that I was threatened with a miscarriage. For several days prior to this difficulty I had been singing an Easter hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal.
In this emergency I was alone and unable to reach the Christian Science practitioner who had been helping me during the pregnancy. What was I to do? I wanted this baby so very much.
