FOR CHILDREN
God loves you
"Children are more tractable than adults, and learn more readily to love the simple verities that will make them happy and good." Science and Health, p. 236. Mrs. Eddy's words are sometimes illustrated by incidents in which the simple trust of a child brings instant healing. The following was written for children but is more likely for all of us.
Little Lynn was too young to go to the Christian Science Sunday School, so when her mommy and her daddy went to church she stayed in the children's room. Here she learned that "God is love" I John 4:8. and that God loved her. In fact, He loves everyone and everything, because God, Love, made everything, and "it was very good." Gen. 1:31.
Lynn's mommy and daddy taught her that anywhere she was, God, Love, was right there to help and heal. Even if she fell down, she couldn't really be hurt, because Love, God, is everywhere, saying, "I love you." In her book Science and Health Mary Baker Eddy says, "God is everywhere, and nothing apart from Him is present or has power." Science and Health, p. 473.
