An invitation for reports from the Field for use at Annual Meeting 1984

Plans that are under way for the 1984 Annual Meeting of The Mother Church will be published in future issues of the periodicals. There will be no related sessions; only the Annual Meeting.

Since "general reports from the Field" will be needed, as usual (Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, Art. XIII, Sect. 1), The Mother Church is inviting contributions once again from individual Christian Scientists, from executive boards of branch churches and societies, and from Christian Science organizations at colleges and universities throughout the world.

The focus of the meeting will be on the Christian Science pastor—the Bible, and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mrs. Eddy. So healings resulting exclusively from the study of these two books will be especially welcome. We will be looking for accounts like those in the chapter "Fruitage" in Science and Health; reports about what the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly has meant to individual persons or communities; reports of fruitage from the branch church meetings related to the 1983 Annual Meeting; progress in understanding and demonstrating the mission of the branches; improvements in Sunday School, Reading Room, lecture activities, and so forth.
