Since I learned of Christian Science over four years ago, I have had several healings, and I would like to share some of these wonderful experiences. Last year I felt an excruciating pain in my right arm and shoulder, and I could not move the arm at all for two or three weeks. The pain was so acute and so unbearable that I could not even concentrate on reading the Bible or the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

I finally decided to go to a nursing facility for Christian Scientists. As soon as I arrived I was surrounded by the devoted care of the nurses. Through the prayer of the Christian Science practitioner who was helping me, I felt better the very next day. After only one week I was able to leave the facility and go back home, greatly improved. I could move my arm freely again and use it normally, and two weeks later I was completely healed. The pain never came back.

While I was at the nursing facility, the loving care and true Christian spirit of the practitioner and nurses convinced me that love is the most important factor in healing. Shortly before I realized this, I was freed from what seemed to be a painful infection in my ears. For both healings I thank God with a deep feeling of gratitude.
