FOR CHILDREN
Little brother
Maybe you have a little brother like Andrew. He's two and loves to listen to the car radio. Sometimes his parents let him turn it on himself. One evening Andrew and his mom and dad were driving to the store, and Andrew leaned over to switch on the car radio. But his mom gently stopped him and said, "No, Andrew, not tonight. Mom's a little tired."
Andrew had learned to love God and had asked Him for help before. And he knew that God takes care of grown-ups too. Right away he said, "Oh, no, Mom. You not tired, Mom. You God's child!" Andrew knew God would heal his mom.
She smiled right away. "You're right, Andrew," she said. Then Mom and Dad began to sing Andrew's favorite hymn, the one he calls "Shepherd."
