God's guidance

I read the lesson through this morning
Then hurried on my way,
Not giving God another thought
During my busy day.

And now the night is falling
And I'm ashamed to say
I forgot whose day it really was—
I did things all my way.

I read the lesson through this morning
Then went along my way,
But gave attention to God's thoughts
To guide me through His day!
