My gratitude for Christian Science knows no...
My gratitude for Christian Science knows no bounds. Early in the summer of 1981 I started having chills and began shaking uncontrollably. However, this condition yielded quickly through Christian Science treatment. Shortly thereafter, I had diarrhea. This too finally yielded through treatment.
Later I began to notice considerable intestinal bleeding, and I was in pain. This condition did not improve through my own efforts to treat it, and as the days went by, the difficulty worsened until the physical evidence was terrifying.
I then called a Christian Science practitioner for help. She listened to my explanation and then asked that I study and ponder Hymn No. 9 in the Christian Science Hymnal. She also gave me several references from the Bible and from Mary Baker Eddy's writings with which to work.
