The unobstructed view
Some time ago, in an article on the Voyager 1 space probe, the writer began: "Voyager 1, Earth's ambassador to the solar system's 'Lord of the Rings,' is sending home dispatches that show how parochial a view we have had of our planetary system." The Christian Science Monitor, November 13, 1980 .
Much of what had been thought true of our solar system before Voyager I was sent into space is being reevaluated on the basis of what has since been learned.
As interesting and informative as this newly gathered information is to those who study the heavenly bodies, how much more vital must be our attaining correct views of God's man and His spiritual universe! The view from earth—the materially formulated theories or concepts commonly held about man and the universe—is corrected by Christian Science. The view that appears from the summit of Christianly scientific reasoning is the same that Christ Jesus employed in his healing ministry.
