FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Lessons from an acting career
Note to readers: It's interesting to find parallels with specific lives of the past and our own lives. This is especially true of biblical characters whose awareness centuries ago of God's presence corroborates the good we discover today.
The author of this article has a successful theater and film career. She recently shared some thoughts on how she correlated the Bible story of David with challenges found on entering the world of the theater in America. Most readers may not be contemplating an acting career. But the narrative, showing the application of specific truths and attitudes learned from the Bible and study of Mrs. Eddy's writings, may be of interest and can certainly be interpreted in a broader context.
