How often understanding one statement from the Bible or from...
How often understanding one statement from the Bible or from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy can annihilate what to human sense is a frightening picture. I would like to relate two such instances.
When our daughter was four, she asked me to cut off a little piece of loose skin on her finger. I did so and thought no more about it. Then a few days later she complained of her finger hurting. After looking at the spot, I put a bandage on it, thinking this would protect it from being bumped. But each day as I changed the bandage, I noticed the spot becoming more inflamed and spreading.
My husband and I then began to pray in earnest. As a family, we gathered together to pray. Our two little ones had been attending a Christian Science Sunday School and knew we were turning to God for help.
